The Beginning

What excitement I feel, beginning this journey!  For several years I have wanted to host a podcast devoted to speaking with fellow keyboardists.  As I interviewed Rachel I tried not to turn into Chris Farley interviewing Paul McCartney on SNL, but failed miserably as I kept realizing what a great opportunity this is.  In the middle of our conversation, my phone rang.  It was muted but as I glanced at the caller id, I realized that the call was likely informing me of the death of a good friend.  I kept going, knowing he would want me to do that and that his leaving this world was ushering in a new direction in my life.  In this current chapter, I hope to be more observant of how I can be helpful to others and pay forward my friend’s kindness and generous spirit.  In that light, I dedicate this initial podcast to Clayton.
